Shortly after 12:40 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, officers were called to a home in the 14600 block of Ponderosa Court in Woodbridge to investigate a robbery that had three victims, two 19 year olds and a 17-year-old boy.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, the three were inside the house with their five future assailants when three of them took out guns and assaulted the minor.

Police say that when the woman attempted to intervene, she was also physically assaulted, and at one point they stole the man's phone and keys while another attempted to take the 17 year old's shoes.

A family member intervened after hearing the commotion, and the five fled the home. It was later determined that the groups had been in an ongoing dispute, investigators noted.

Investigators were able to identify the five suspects, who were arrested on Monday.

Those charged:

  • Valle Iverson Galindo, 19, of Triangle;
  • Roger Donaldo Aguilar-Diaz, of Triangle;
  • 17-year-old minor from Dumfries;
  • 17-year-old minor from Manassas;
  • 16-year-old minor from Dumfries.

Galindo and one of the 17 year olds were charged with two counts of robbery, three counts each of brandishing and malicious wounding by mob, as well as use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Aguilar Diaz was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

They're being held without bond pending their next court appearance.

The other two teens were charged with possession of a firearm by a minor. Each of the teens are being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.
